Your Ojai Water Update

Casitas’ staff and Board appreciate the cooperation and patience of Ojai water customers during this transition period. Casitas is dedicated to bringing excellent quality water service to Ojai. Casitas is now in the process of finalizing water service accounts and water billing procedures.

  • Application for Water Service – If you are a former Golden State Customer, you must turn in an application for water service with Casitas to continue to receive water. If you have not done so, please do so immediately.
  • Casitas water bills – Your Casitas water bill will be delivered in the first week of November. It will include four months of service charges and the final balance of water charges from the former meter. Your second Casitas water bill, arriving in the first week of December, will include water use charges based on the water use from the new water meter through October. Ojai customers will be charged only at Casitas’ lowest tiered rate from June 8, to November 1. By January, water billing will be at Casitas’ standard rates and billed monthly.
  • Unpaid Golden State Water Bills – For the few customers that did not pay their Golden State water bill, a hang tag will be given on, or before, October 9. If you have not paid this debt, please do so.
