No Ventura River Diversions Due to Ash/Debris

No Ventura River Diversions Due to Ash/Debris

Casitas is not diverting water from the Ventura River at this time due to ash and debris in the water. Casitas is not diverting because of potential water quality impacts to the Lake Casitas reservoir from the ashen water running down the Ventura River. The recent fires burned at high temperatures through the upper watershed leaving a significant amount of ash and debris that is now being washed into the river from the recent rains.
