What is a precautionary boil water notice or advisory?
A precautionary boil water notice advises customers to boil tap water before consumption due to a possible contamination risk, often stemming from a loss of water pressure or a water main break. At this point in time, no contamination has been detected in the water system. In order to error on the side of caution, Casitas MWD still strongly advises you to use bottled water or boil your water prior to consumption. This page will be updated when testing is complete.
