To comply with California’s Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook (CCCPH), Casitas is implementing its Cross-Connection Control Program and related updates to the District’s Rates and Regulations for Water Service. This program helps protect drinking water by preventing backflow, which can occur when water flows in the wrong direction through a cross-connection from a non-potable or potentially contaminated source on a water user’s premises into the public water system.
